Sara Irina Fabrikant

Sara Irina Fabrikant is a former co-initiator and past co-director of the Digital Society Initiative. She is a Full Professor of Geography, in particular Geographic Information Science, at the UZH Geography Department. Sara Irina Fabrikant is a member of the Swiss Science Council, and past Vice President of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) and of a number of international scientific bodies. Her research and teaching interests lie in geographic information visualization and geovisual analytics, GIScience and cognition, graphical user interface design and evaluation, including dynamic cartography.
