Stefan Lakämper

Stefan Lakämper heads a small but steadily developing research group in the division of traffic medicine, which itself is again part of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the UZH. The group develops interdisciplinary research projects and collaborative clinical trials with respect to the many facets of the medically defined fitness to drive (Sleepiness, Intoxication, ADHD, etc.). Core instrument of the group is a and highly immersive driving simulator, VICTOR (https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=ntULEgy28cU). Simulation studies are complemented by eye tracking and EEG-recordings. Clever combination of such safe digital testing means will improve understanding of medical or social conditions that put danger to traffic safety.
