Ian Ruginski

Ian Ruginski is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Geographic Information and Visualization Group working on the GeoViSense ERC Project „Towards a Transdisciplinary Human Sensor Science of Human Visuo-Spatial Decision Making with Geographic Information Displays.“ Ian uses interdisciplinary approaches from psychology, anthropology, statistics, computer science, and geography to broadly study spatial cognition and navigation in real and virtual environments. His research has the applied goal of better designing visualizations and maps for user interactivity.
